The candidate will be part of a team which provides production support for database systems running

Oracle, DB2 UDB and/or SQL Server in a multi-customer, multi-applications environment.

Candidate may also support installation of new environments or transitions of current environments into the data center.

- 5+ years experience supporting database systems in the areas listed below.

- DBA should have a solid background in SQL Server production/physical database support. Addition skills in Oracle or DB2 UDB also needed. Also experience with Oracle 10g Data Guard a plus.

- DBA should have experience in the following database areas.

. software installation
. software upgrade and maintenance
. database creation
. database layout and parameter configuration
. performance and tuning
. disk space management
. security
. problem diagnostic and troubleshooting
. backup and recovery
. Oracle RMAN
. Oracle Data Guard Standby Database
. Monitoring
. UNIX shell scripting

- DBA should be able to provide database support on the following platforms.
