Description

The Customer Service Representative provides order and information support to Customer and Rep Territories as assigned. Processes inquiries, orders, complaints, and returns.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Processes customer inquiries, quoting prices, delivery information, and terms
  • Handles phone, fax and email inquiries, discusses customers’ needs, and recommends products that will best satisfy them
  • Coordinates new customer set ups with Credit Department
  • Responds to complaints, and coordinates response with responsible departments
  • Communicates status of delayed orders, back orders or necessity of substitutions
  • Attend training courses to develop knowledge of company’s key technologies, as well as competitor practices, demonstrate profit and customer driven attributes
  • Comply with all government, industry and company regulations and standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment, as well as, reduce environmental impact
  • Enters orders in a timely manner
  • Handles other assignments as required

 

Required:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 3+ Years general customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong phone and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations
