Direct Hire position in Florence, KY
The Regional Sales Engineer supervises and evaluates selling effort of Industrial Process Equipment sales representatives and direct sales engineers in assigned territory.  Candidate provides day-to-day application and technical support to field sales, customers, inside staff and customer service group. Candidate reports to the Company North America Sales Manager.
The Regional Sales Engineer is responsible to establish and build a relationship with Company’s clients requiring separation, grinding and size reduction solutions. Job incumbent is expected to spend 50-60% of their time preparing for and visiting clients in their offices, including cold calling on new accounts

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identify and qualify all sales opportunities
  • Plan client calls; make regular client visits to ensure appropriate call coverage of assigned accounts Participate with management to develop sales goals and coordinate sales plans for the promotion of existing services/ products and introduction of new services/products
  • Apply technical knowledge of segment services/ products to customer’s needs
  • Demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge of one service to effectively apply solutions to a customer’s needs Maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitive products and services
  • Support the marketing strategy of the Business Line Keep abreast of client plans and problems; act as customer interface with operations
  • Monitor price structure and pricing levels; recommend necessary changes and price increases to customers
  • Participate in the selection of Independent Rep Agencies and is responsible for their training and development
  • Analyze sales representatives and district sales direct selling activity and effects changes as needed Conduct audits on contracts to ensure compliance and minimize errors
  • Attend training courses to develop knowledge of company’s key technologies, as well as competitor practices
  • Implement and comply with all Sarbanes-Oxley requirements Comply with all government, industry and company regulations and standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment, as well as, reduce environmental impact
  • BS/BA – Engineering, Geosciences, Marketing and Sales. 10 to 15 years of experience
