Medical PBX Operator
|Duties:||Operator is responsible for answering and directing incoming calls in professional and courteous manner. Timely processes pages/text message requests for on call physicians and individuals across various services and departments across all 3 hospitals. Assists in the maintenance of contact information and on call schedules. Provide support for pager issuance, activation/deactivation, swaps inventory. Ability to answer calls for the majority of an 8 hour shift in a fast paced detail oriented environment.
SCHEDULE: TUESDAY-SATURDAY 1OPM-6:30AM
|Skills:||One year exp as a telephone switchboard operator. Exp in healthcare environment is preferred. Experience on PBX phone system (Avaya preferred) and paging technology.|
|Education:||HS Diploma or GED.|
