Software Engineer
This is a long-term contract assignment in Houston. We are seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to develop Cloud micro-services, infrastructure and web applications to support PaaS, IaaS and CaaS applications. The programming language is mainly Scala, while Golang, Java, and Python are used in some of the services. This position reports to the Software Project Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities: Architect, design and implement cloud based micro services. Document architecture, design, and implementation in approved company business systems. Collaborate with architect, QA, DevOps engineers and product owners in daily development process. Troubleshoot issues in production and development environments. Prioritize, analyze and resolve defects.
Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Masters’ degree in Computer Science or related filed & 3 years or more recent working experience with Scala, Java, or Go
