Employee Relations Consultant

This is a contract position, onsite in the Medical Center (not remote). Candidates currently residing within commuting distance will be considered. Desired skillset includes:

Extensive experience with investigating internal and external Employee Relations, Ethics Line, EEO, EEOC, DOL, and other regulatory agency complaints.
Demonstrated proficiency with conducting effective investigations in accordance with established investigatory guidelines to include intake, investigation plan, interviews, data analysis, resolution, report writing and record keeping.
Subject Matter Expert on legal requirements for ADA, Affirmative Action, Title VII, FMLA, FLSA, NLRA and can demonstrate what their involvement has been specifically with Title VII, ADA, and FMLA.
Must be able to work under minimal supervision, provide effective service, support, consultation and resolution of complex ER inquiries and issues through the informed application of company policies, programs, procedures, and federal/state laws.
Must be able to provide response, consultation and successful resolution of employee relations questions and inquiries involving employees at all levels, from front-line non-exempt employees to senior level executives.
Must be able to provide consistent guidance and direction to people leaders (managers) in the handling of complex employee matters, including disciplinary recommendations, associated documentation, and preparation for employee conversations.

Bachelor’s Degree- Business Administration or related discipline- Required
Preferred SPHR or SHRM-SCP
5 years experience in Human Resources with two years experience in Employee Relations is required
