HR Onboarding Specialist
This is a 6+ month contract position. You will primarily work remotely but will need to go into the office as needed.
Provides HR administrative support for a variety of high-volume hiring
Coordinates background checks, drug screens and license verifications, to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Manage priorities, maintains confidentiality, and multitasks while working in high volume and high stress environment
Obtains and maintains a working knowledge of electronic HR system to perform all functions of job including data entry, maintenance, and reports
Assists with special projects and request as required; prioritizes projects appropriately with other assignments
Conduct and coordinate onboarding tasks for newly hired or transferring employees to include background checks, drug screens, and verification of credentials, when applicable, to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Research discrepancies revealed through background checks and drug screens and coordinate resolution with involved parties
Escalate as appropriate any exceptions to established policies and procedures to leader according to department protocols
Communicate with candidates, team members, leaders, and onboarding partner organizations to ensure all aspects of the process are successfully completed and any delays are known, shared, and planned
Work collaboratively with recruiter to understand unique aspects of each hire to ensure compliance and positive hiring and onboarding experience
Conducts ongoing verification of required credentials (includes license and certifications) throughout employment
Provide assistance/support as needed for HR tasks, programs, and special projects including front desk coverage, back-up coverage, and other related duties as assigned.
Experience scheduling and managing background checks & Drug Testing is required
Prior HR Admin experience in a hospital / healthcare setting is a strong plus
