Network Administrator
SUMMARY:
Provides technical network infrastructure administration and support to maintain highly available deployed business applications.
Daily management and maintenance tasks for infrastructure and datacenter environment consisting of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
Monitor network traffic, network utilization and related systems performance; produce monthly reports to Chief Information Officer.
Manage network security tools, SIEM, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
Troubleshoot, resolve, update and maintain all documentation of network and server systems.
Maintain disaster recovery procedures for datacenter servers and network systems. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, documentation, and standards to ensure optimum information security.
Conduct periodic audits, testing, and remediation in accordance with IT policies.
Maintain a highly secure infrastructure, protecting sensitive corporate data from internal and external threats.
Maintain a solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts.
Respond to requests for assistance or information in a timely and professional manner.
Provide after-hours support for technical related emergencies and routine maintenance. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong understanding of data networks. VoIP knowledge would be helpful.
Knowledge of NERC CIP, and PCI compliance requirements, preferred.
Ability to assess, document, and implement a high level of security across all segments of the network infrastructure.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of Scienced (B.S.) from a four year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience working in a fast paced, high change environment, with limited supervision.
